2nd Annual Business Women's Summer Summit

Yesterday I took part in my first Business Women's Summer Summit hosted by Startup Zone and the PEI Business Women's Association! It was a lovely event full of hard truths, helpful information, and ambitious personalities.

My role as moderator of the "Carving your Niche" panel started out the event on the right foot! We chatted for half an hour about entrepreneurship, advice for your past self, the importance of strategy, and whether being an entrepreneur is learned or innate. Elena Yanovskaya of Art Fresh Creative Studio, Heather Macauley of Volume 18, and Heather MacLean of Revolution Media were insightful and gave excellent responses.  As a freelance graphic designer, it was a dream to sit down and chat with these industry leaders and I thank them for taking the time out of their schedules for the event.
